On the eastern coast of the Istrian peninsula, in the Kvarner Bay, not far from the historic towns of Lovran and Opatija, lies Mošćenička Draga,
a place that combines beautiful beaches and comfortable accommodation for an unforgettable vacation.

It was built in the 19th century when the inhabitants of the town of Mošćenice and the surrounding towns moved to the coast mainly to catch fish.
This place developed as a fishing port of the town of Mošćenice. From a small fishing village, it has grown into a real “pearl” of the Opatija Riviera.
Today’s economy is based mainly on tourism and catering, to a lesser extent on fishing.

The area of Mošćenička Draga is proud of its numerous cultural and historical sights – the old town of Mošćenice,
the old town of Brsec, numerous churches, studios, old villas, squares and alleys, Glagolitic heritage, and other valuable monuments
which represent traces of a long and varied history in the area.
